CSG Government Solutions Announces REALize-MITASM Methodology for Medicaid Modernization

Chicago, Illinois – August 11, 2009

CSG Government Solutions today announced the launch of REALize-MITASM, a breakthrough methodology to help state governments modernize Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). REALize-MITA is the latest addition to CSG’s REALizeSM public sector systems development suite.

The Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), established by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), defines a specific architectural direction for MMIS modernization and a framework for states to align their efforts with a MITA maturity model.

CSG Government Solutions, through its CSG Tech™ Research and Development unit, has now developed REALize-MITA, a powerful methodology to assist states through the full Medicaid Modernization Lifecycle. REALize-MITA utilizes straightforward tools and techniques to simplify the State Self-Assessment, and precisely support the Transition Plan, Implementation Advanced Planning Document, RFP, Implementation, and CMS Certification processes.
